<a href="http://www.uobvm.com.sg/home.html" target="_blank">UOB Venture Management</a>, the investment arm of Singapore&#8217;s United Overseas Bank Group, has led a $30 million Series C funding round in HunterOn, a China-based online recruitment startup.
IDG Capital Partners, an existing investor, also participated in the round.
HunterOn, founded in 2012, brings recruiters and headhunters together on its web and mobile platforms. It claims to have 20,000 headhunting firms and 60,000 recruiters who work on hiring solutions for 30,000 companies.
The company will use the funding to expand its recruitment services to sectors such as finance, healthcare and consumer. It will also spend on pushing its new mobile app for hiring senior level executives, who can use the platform to connect with headhunters.
The company had raised $10 million in a Series A round from IDG and China Growth Capital in 2014. Later that year, Sequoia Capital led a $20 million Series B investment.
UOB said in a statement that HunterOn is creating a marketplace for mid-to-senior level professionals and headhunters, who serve as  the primary mode of hiring in China.
In April, UOB had announced setting up of a Sino-Singapore private equity fund with a target size of up to RMB100 billion in partnership with three Chinese firms.
