Singapore: QIA agrees to purchase Asia Square in $2.49b deal

BlackRock Inc has entered into an agreement to sell a 43-storey office building in Singapore to the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), a sovereign wealth fund (SWF), for a consideration of S$3.4 billion (US$2.49 billion). BlackRock was advised on the transaction by real estate consultant firms JLL and CBRE.
