Delhi-based Get My Parking has raised $1.1 million in a pre-Series A round from <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Indian+Angel+Network" target="_blank">Indian Angel Network</a> (IAN), BEENEXT, <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=the+chennai+angels" target="_blank">The Chennai Angels</a> (TCA) and Hero group&#8217;s Sunil Munjal.
&#8220;Giving way to mobility planning, the fund will be invested in deploying our integrated smart parking platform. The pilots have been initiated in Jaipur and Mumbai in collaboration with local government authorities and several citywide contracts. We are poised for international growth by setting up country partners in 6 countries with the enhanced products to fit the requirements of a global parking solution,&#8221; said Rasik Pansare, co-founder and CMO, Get My Parking.
Agile Parking Solutions, which operates under the brand name Get My Parking, was founded in 2015 by IIT Madras alumni Chirag Jain and Rasik Pansare, alumni of FMS Delhi. The company provides IoT-based parking platform which makes real-time parking information accessible for both the supply and demand side. Its mobile app empowers self-driving users to search, book and navigate to parking hassle-free.
Last year in May, Get My Parking had <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/stories/39402-39402/" target="_blank">raised</a> Rs 2.5 crore ($0.376 million) from The Chennai Angels.
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Mumbai&#8217;s Reap Chemist gets seed funding from Freecharge founders, others</h3>
B2B app for pharmacies Reap has raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding from <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=FreeCharge" target="_blank">FreeCharge</a> founders Kunal Shah and Sandeep Tandon, Chaayos co-founder and CEO Nitin Saluja and Thinklabs founder Gagan Goyal.
According to an Economic Times <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://tech.economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/startups/mumnai-based-reap-chemist-raises-seed-funding/57283570" target="_blank">report</a>, Mumbai-based Workcell Solutions Pvt. Ltd, which runs Reap, will utilise the proceeds to develop the product further and expand operations.
Reap helps pharma stores increase sales conversion by solving issues at the supply-chain level. The startup was founded by IIT-Bombay alumnus Siddharth Gadia.
It claims to have over 6,000 pharmacy stores signed up on their platform across four cities -Jaipur, Surat, Ahmedabad and Nashik.
