Indonesia to set up holding co for 4 state banks; drops plans to merge Islamic finance biz

Indonesia is looking at creating a new holding company which will manage four of its state-owned banks in a move to yield greater operational efficiency even as the structure will enhance the banks’ ability to raise capital.
