<a href="http://www.rhbgroup.com/products-and-services/unit-trust/asset-management/rhb-asset-management-sdn-bhd/" target="_blank">RHB OSK Asset Management</a> (RHB-AM), the wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysia’s <a href="http://www.rhbgroup.com" target="_blank">RHB Banking Group</a>, launched the Singapore Income Fund on Friday (August 28).
The RHB Singapore Income Fund is designed to invest in equity and equity-related securities from the Singapore market. It is targeted at firms that would benefit from Singapore&#8217;s development as a regional financial and business centre in the Asia Pacific and the first of its kind to be launched in Singapore this year.
Aligned with strong economic and social trends, the investment is appropriate for investors seeking to secure regular income and steady returns through long term capital growth through a hybrid allocation of equity and fixed income. Currently, the bonds are distributed by <a href="http://www.ifastcorp.com/ifastcorp/home/index.tpl" target="_blank">iFast Corporation</a> and RHB Bank Singapore.
The fund is offered at an initial investment amount of S$1000 in either Singapore or US dollars, with a minimum additional investment of $500 in either  currency.

The presence of many leading companies here is a testimony to Singapore’s vibrant economy.&#8221;
Sierra added, &#8220;With the RHB Singapore Income Fund, investors are able to ride on the growth of Singapore’s capital market and directly contribute to the development of the economy locally.”
The RHB Singapore Income Fund has been structure to invest in companies that consistently distribute dividends regularly and is targeted to provide investors with a quarterly distribution of approximately 5 percent per annum. This is dependent on prevailing market conditions.
