<h3 style="text-align: justify;">MMP Resouces considers acquisition of Japanese assets</h3>
<a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/mmp-resources" target="_blank">MMP Resources</a> has signed a service agreement with Sean Tedore, a mechanical engineer and former professional snowboarder, to review winter travel and leisure assets in Japan that the group intends to acquire.
According to a stock exchange filing, the move is part of its intention to maintain a high level of corporate governance for its business within Japan’s Tier 1 travel, hospitality and leisure sectors.
Tedore has &#8220;extensive knowledge on athlete services, hardware production, apparel and global brand marketing from the global snow industry” and has served as the leader at two specialty brands in the global snow market &#8211; CAPiTA MFG and Ride Snowboards &#8211; having left his post as global brand director at Ride after a corporate acquisition.
The scope of Tedore&#8217;s work with MMP will focus on maximising opportunities in the winter lifestyle user destination industry, including strategic partnerships with premium apparel, hardware, and food and beverage industries.
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Acromec to acquire 60% of Golden Harvest in S$1.86m deal</h3>
<a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/acromec" target="_blank">Acromec Limited</a>, a specialist engineering service provider, is planning to acquire 60 per cent stake in Golden Harvest Engineering Pte Ltd for S$1.86 million.
Golden Harvest, a home-grown company, provides maintenance services for air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems.
Lim Say Chin, the Executive Chairman and Managing Director of ACROMEC, said: “This acquisition of a maintenance company is consistent with our plan to acquire companies that complement our business model.  We can now look forward to build a stronger and more equipped team to provide services to larger scale facilities and secure new facility maintenance contracts beyond our existing customers and projects in the healthcare and biomedical sectors.”
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Lynx Analytics opens US office</h3>
<a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/lynx-analytics" target="_blank">Lynx Analytics</a>, a tech startup specialising in graph analytics located at JTC LaunchPad @ one-north, has expanded to the US with the launch of an office in New York. This is the company’s first overseas office housing both engineering and business development capabilities outside Asia.
To develop the technology and to test it at real data scale, Lynx decided strategically over the last few years to focus on the telecom, mobile advertising, financial services, and fintech industries.
Gyorgy Lajtai, Managing Director of Lynx Analytics, said, “Setting foot in North America was part of our long-term plan and with the backing by Lynx’s strategic investor, this has been made possible.&#8221;
