<a href="http://www.euconholding.com/html/index.php" target="_blank">Eucon Holding Limited</a> has acquired Chinese media company for 2.4 million yuan while <a href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/tag/China-Everbright-Ltd" target="_blank">China Everbright Ltd</a> raises its stake in <a href="http://www.yingligj.com" target="_blank">Ying Li International Real Estate</a>.
<h3>Eucon acquires Chinese media company</h3>
Eucon Holding Limited<a href="http://infopub.sgx.com/FileOpen/Eucon%20-%20Proposed%20Acquisition.ashx?App=Announcement&amp;FileID=434648" target="_blank"> said it has acquired</a> Chinese media company, BJ Vast Universe Culture Communication Co., Ltd., for 2.4 million yuan ($345,398).
In a filing to the Singapore Exchange, the company said, it has acquired the entire stake from Zhan Yang for cash.
The move is strategic as it will allow Eucon to enter into the media business as part of its diversification strategy.
<a href="http://infopub.sgx.com/FileOpen/Eucon%20-%20Proposed%20Disposal.ashx?App=Announcement&amp;FileID=434649" target="_blank">In a separate filing, </a>the group also said, it will be selling its entire paid-up share capital in Eucon Investment Holding Pte Ltd to former group chairman and CEO Wen Yao-Long for a nominal consideration of S$1.00, taking into account the net liability position of S$5.21 million as of 31 October 2016.
<h3>China Everbright raises stake in Ying Li</h3>
China Everbright Group, through its asset management arm China Everbright Ltd, has increased its stake in Singapore-listed Ying Li International Real Estate.
<a href="http://infopub.sgx.com/FileOpen/_eFORM3V2_SAL_20161223_Final%20Executed.ashx?App=Announcement&amp;FileID=434109" target="_blank">In a filing to the Singapore Exchange</a>, the group said it has bought 205 million shares or 8.02 per cent of Ying Li from Leap Forward.
The transaction raises China Everbright&#8217;s total stake in Ying Li to 22.92 per cent, up from its previous 14.9 per cent.
