<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Yuexiu Property acquires land parcel in S$200m deal</h3>
Hong Kong-listed <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.yuexiuproperty.com/enproperty/" target="_blank">Yuexiu Property</a> has acquired a parcel of land in Niu Tian, Jianggan District, Hangzhou City in the Zhejiang Province of China for RMB 986 million (S$200 million).
Its major shareholder is Guangzhou Yuexiu Holdings Limited, the investment corporation of the Guangzhou Government. The firm provides real estate development and property management services, with interests in transport infrastructure construction, finance and securities, roads and bridge operation, hotels, paper-making, wholesale and retail trade, and building materials manufacturing businesses.
The land parcel, designated for residential use, spans a total gross floor area (GFA) of 76,800 square metres (sq m), with an average land cost estimated at RMB 12,800 per sq m.
The company, with a primary listing in Hong Kong and a secondary listing in Singapore, states that the acquisition is to absorb a quality land bank, as part of a strategy to build land holdings in Greater Guangzhou, Central China and Yangtze River Delta. To date, Yuexiu’s total land bank is said to be 13.76 million sq m, with around 10.51 million sq m of land bank in terms of attributable interest.
January 2016 saw Yuexiu announce its intent to seek a delisting from the SGX due to low trading volume.
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">TSH Corporation sells property for $S16.1m</h3>
<a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/tag/tsh-corporation/" target="_blank">TSH Corporation</a> has sold its property located at 62 Burn Road to Singapore Shenguan for  S$16.1 million. Shenguan is an unrelated third party engaged in manufacturing pharmaceutical intermediates and fine chemicals. The seven-storeyed freehold light industrial building sits on a 987 sqm land plot with a gross floor area of 2202 sq m. Currently, TSH occupies one floor and uses parts of the ground floor for its headquarters and business operations. The rest of the building is unoccupied or leased out.
According to TSH, it expects to raise net proceeds of S$15.9 million from the sale, with S$7.5 million intended to repay a bank loan and $4.5 million for discharging the mortgage on the property. This follows the company announcing plans to dispose of its consumer electronic products and homeland security services businesses,  which remain subject to shareholders’ approval.
