Thailand’s major oil-tanker service provider <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=prima+marine">Prima Marine</a> and anti-ageing centre operator <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=the+klinique">The Klinique</a> have submitted the filing to the Office of Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday to sell shares in initial public offerings (IPOs).
<h3>Prima Marine to launch IPO</h3>
Prima Marine Pcl, the country’s largest marine vessel management firm for petroleum and petrochemical products, has filed its application to launch an IPO, in which it will sell not exceeding 625 million ordinary shares in the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
The company&#8217;s stock is expected to make its debut by the end of this year.
The IPO shares contribute 25 per cent of total registered and paid-up capital at the par value of 1 baht apiece, according to the filing.
Not exceeding 500 million shares will be from the company’s additional shares and the rest 125 million shares from the existing shareholders.
As of the end of 2016, the company owned 22 vessels and had the contract with nine other vessels with total loading capacity of 2,239,219 DWT.
Prima Marine has appointed Kasikorn Securities and Siam Commercial Bank as financial advisers for the listing plan.
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">TKC to sell 27.27% in IPO</h3>
The Klinique Pcl (TKC), a local operator of laser and anti-aging centres, plans to sell 60 million shares, equivalent to 27.27 per cent of total capital, in the IPO.
The company plans to trade the stock on the Market for Alternative Investments this year.
By the end of 2016, TKC operates 22 branches and has three franchisees with total registered capital of 110 million baht.
AEC Securities is the financial advisor on the IPO process. Last year it reported the revenue of 640.51 million baht ($18.6 million) and the net profit of 32.66 million baht ($940,000), declining from 51.77 million baht ($1.5 million) in 2015.
The IPO proceeds will be used to open eight new branches in the country’s leading department stores, estimating the investment of 15-20 million baht each branch.
