<article><a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=times+internet" target="_blank">Times Internet Ltd</a>, a part of the Times of India Group, has acquired small business enablement platform <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.getmeashop.com/" target="_blank">Get Me A Shop</a> (GMAS) for an undisclosed amount, the company announced on Tuesday.</article>

<a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=times+internet" target="_blank">Times Internet Ltd</a>, a part of the Times of India Group, has acquired small business enablement platform <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.getmeashop.com/" target="_blank">Get Me A Shop</a> (GMAS) for an undisclosed amount, the company announced on Tuesday.
This acquisition will help TIL to offer a one-stop solution to consumers for all their digital needs.
GMAS will also get millions of merchants and offline businesses online quickly through this deal.
Incepted in 2014, GMAS enables offline businesses, without technical knowhow, to create their website and mobile app. Since its launch, the startup claims to have helped around 1,800 businesses across India.
“In the past couple of years, we have helped hundreds of customers across multiple verticals, bringing them online and helping them grow. Having a strong focus on technology, we have built a world-class product from scratch using bleeding edge technologies while ensuring that it is really easy to use. With Times Internet, we hope to reach scale with the extensive network of businesses they work with,&#8221; said Pushkal Srivastava, founder, GMAS.
The platform also lets businesses and individuals such as designers, retailers, restaurants to set up an online store with ability to enable online payments and logistic services on-demand.
“We have been observing the growth of this business since they were part of the fourth batch of <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=tlabs" target="_blank">TLabs</a>. Seeing the team&#8217;s passion and execution, we have taken the decision to bring them on board. We see a lot of synergies with the businesses within TIL and GMAS,” said

TIL recently <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/stories/times-internet-picks-majority-stake-in-mobile-only-task-marketplace-taskbucks-for-15m-19853/" target="_blank">picked</a> majority stake in <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.taskbucks.com/" target="_blank">TaskBucks</a>, a mobile-only tasks marketplace that matches consumers with brands and enterprises on its platform, for $15 million.
Earlier, it invested in auto portals <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=CarDekho.com" target="_blank">CarDekho.com</a> and in US-based Coursera Inc, an education technology company, along with other investors.
