The Hong Kong-based <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=vistra" target="_blank">Vistra Group</a> has marked its second deal in the country by acquiring Bangalore-based Ujwal Management Services Pvt Ltd (USMPL), an international business services provider.
It did not disclose the deal amount and as a part of it, Ujwal&#8217;s two top executives &#8212; Muralikrishan A.G. and Kantharaj S.K.&#8211; will join the Vistra Group.
In April 2016, the company had <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/stories/vistra-group-marks-india-entry-with-ilfs-trust-acquisition-37029/" target="_blank">acquired</a> <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=IL%26FS+Trust+Co+Ltd" target="_blank">IL&amp;FS Trust Co Ltd</a>, India&#8217;s largest independent corporate trust services provider, for an undisclosed amount.
&#8220;Acquiring Ujwal expands the Group&#8217;s presence in India, especially the coverage in South India. Ujwal has the expertise, experienced staff, and well-established network to penetrate the IT-enabled services (ITeS) client segment which is a good fit to the Group&#8217;s strategic focus,&#8221; said Martin Crawford, CEO of Vistra Group.
Founded in 1995, Ujwal is focused on outsourced services such as accounting, finance and statutory compliance. The company, which employs over 110 people, includes mostly Indian subsidiaries of foreign multinationals as its clients.
&#8220;With Vistra&#8217;s global network, we can extend our onshore capability into key business origination markets such as USA and Europe, which broaden our geography significantly,&#8221; said Muralikrishan A.G., CEO of Ujwal.
Vistra Group, the top fourth corporate services provider globally, offers solutions to international corporations, trust, fiduciary, fund and corporate services. It employs more than 2,300 professionals in over 30 countries.
