Carousell is acquiring Malaysian mobile classified startup Duriana, in a deal that will boost its presence in the Philippines.
Digital Garage, Beenos and some other undisclosed investors also participated in the round. Healthians aggregates local pathology laboratories on its platform, competes with a number of diagnostics chains, including Dr Lal PathLabs, and SRL.
This is the fifth-largest deal ever in the Indian start-up business and is expected to give an attractive exit to Citrus Pay investors, Ascent Capital and Beenos and Sequoia Capital, in particular.
Bangkok-based E-commerce company Zilingo has closed an $8 million Series A investment in a round led by Venturra Capital, Sequoia India and Susquehanna International Group. Other participating investors were Wavemaker Partners, Beenext, Beenos and Digital Garage.
Droom’s existing investors, Lightbox Ventures and Beenos, also participated in the latest round along with new institutional investors from China and Japan, founder Sandeep Aggarwal said.
Philippine financial technology (fintech) company Ayannah is in the process of raising $3 million in its Series A round led by 500 Startups and Life.SREDA, and other fintech tech investors have already participated in the financing round.
