Japan: English learning app Polyglots closes Series A round

Tokyo-based Polyglots, which has developed an English-language learning app for Japanese, in addition to Mondo, a Japanese-lanaguge learning app fro non-Japanese speakers, has secured Series A funding. Financial terms of the transaction are undisclosed.

Indonesia: E-commerce startup Kudo raises funding from Emtek Group, others
