Switzerland-based Partners has acquired five fund positions from NZ Super, which wants to exit the real estate space. The positions include stakes in the third fund of Hong Kong-based Gaw Capital Partners, a private equity real estate firm, and Red Fort India Real Estate Fund II, an India-focussed fund run by Singapore-based Rising Straits Capital.
KKR & Co. and Babson Capital Management LLC are looking to take advantage of a pullback in lending by banks in Asia, after funds active in the region raised a record amount from investors.
Existing investors like Eminent II VC, Hua Nan Venture Capital, President International Development and UMC Capital also took part in the fresh round.
