Singapore’s main board listed Singapore Myanmar Investco (SMI) – that has made a foothold in a number of business including the consumer related businesses and services in Myanmar – is divesting its telecommunications tower business to Hong Kong’s Shining Star International Holdings Limited for about $12.7 million.
The divestment is being conducted through SMI’s subsidiary, Myanmar Infrastructure Group. Shining Star International Holdings Limited is engaged in real estate, hotel, property management, education, healthcare and tourism related businesses in both China and Myanmar.
