Warburg Pincus-backed ZTO Express files for US listing to raise $1.5b

Chinese logistics firm ZTO Express has filed for an initial public offering (IPO) with the Securities and Exchange Commission in US to raise up to $1.5 billion.

Private equity firm Warburg Pincus backed ZTO is likely to use the proceeds for future expansion in the competitive parcel delivery services industry amid spurt of e-commerce merchants and online shopping platforms.
