Indonesia 2015: IPO market expands with 20 firms raising $1b, but country fails to meet targets

Indonesia failed to meet its initial target of 35 listings, as well as its revised target of 22 initial public offerings, and has ended the year with barely 20 companies raising about a $1 billion via the capital markets route. In comparison, last year (2014) it witnessed 19 listings with Indonesian companies raising just $656 million, while 2013 had seen 30 initial public offerings with a deal value of $3.69 billion, according to data compiled by Duff and Phelps.
