Startups LetsMD and LaundryAnna have raised angel funding while BookMyTime has acqui-hired Servicemycar.com.
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Health Tech startup LetsMD raises angel funding</h3>
Delhi-based startup LetsMD has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from a group of investors including <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/calcutta-angel-network" target="_blank">Calcutta Angels Network</a>, <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/letsventure" target="_blank">LetsVenture</a>, <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/anupam-mittal" target="_blank">Anupam Mittal</a> of Shaadi.com and <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/currae-healthtech" target="_blank">Currae Healthtech Fund</a> in lieu of 25 per cent stake in the company, according to <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/small-biz/money/letsmd-gets-a-fresh-angel-funding-shot/articleshow/55198851.cms" target="_blank">a report</a> in The Economic Times.
The quantum of the investment and the stake held by individual companies were not disclosed.
&#8220;LetsMD is in the process of creating a platform by bringing together all the players of the healthcare ecosystem on to a single integrated marketplace. It is CAN&#8217;s first round with LetsMD. Incidentally, it is also CAN&#8217;s biggest investment in terms of the amount invested,&#8221; Siddharth Pansari, President, Calcutta Angel Network said.
The company, which was founded in 2015, plans to use the funding to develop its technology as well as expand its team and invest in marketing.
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">LaundryAnna raises $150k from angel investors</h3>
Laundry service startup <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://deastreetasia.com/tag/laundryanna/" target="_blank">LaundryAnna</a> has raised $150,000seed funding from angel investors, as per an Inc42 <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://Bengaluru-based doorstep laundry startup LaundryAnna has secured $150K (INR 1 Cr) in Seed funding from angel investors. Founded in 2015 by Prateek Rana, it offers on-demand laundry services in South Bengaluru. The platform claims to process over 3,000 garments per day. According to an official statement, it operates on a full stack model and owns the complete supply chain – from logistics to garment processing – and does not outsource any of its orders." target="_blank">report</a>.
“We plan to expand to other areas in the city with a combination of hub and spoke model and physical stores. Owing to the stringent focus on quality and turnaround time, we are not considering franchising the model,&#8221; said Prateek Rana, founder, LaundryAnna.
&#8220;We will continue to have in-house processing and upgrade the existing infrastructure to cope with expanded operations,” he added
Founded in 2015 the startup offers on-demand laundry services in South Bengaluru. It claims to process over 3,000 garments per day.
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">BookMyTime acquihires Servicemycar.com</h3>
<a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/bookmytime" target="_blank">BookMyTime</a>, car purchase and service platform has acqui-hired car management startup <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/servicemykar/" target="_blank" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?hl=en&amp;q=http://servicemykar.com/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1478168416945000&amp;usg=AFQjCNEB-VsOWgc8D5K9hT--xhu6n8-E5Q">servicemykar.com</a>.
The acqui-hire includes a 10+ member team and also the inclusion of Raghavendra Chandrappa as the CEO of the new and expanded BookMyTime. Servicemykar was also founded by Chandrappa, the company said in a statement.
“We are happy to announce this acquisition this early in our growth phase. This has been a strategic acquisition for BookMyTime since we have not only absorbed the team of Servicemykar, but we have also gained a CEO with Raghavendra Chandrappa. With this acquisition, we are ready to expand our operation in terms of service and geography,”  Raghuram Kote, Founder and Partner BookMyTime.
BookMyTime is an end-to-end mobile-based platform connecting automobile owners with car dealers and service providers.
