PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk (SMCB), a subsidiary of Swiss-based giant global cement producer LafargeHolcim Ltd, has officially begun the operation of its new cement plant in Tuban, East Java, which was constructed with an investment of $800 million. The Tuban cement plant complements the company’s existing plants in in Narogong in West Java and Cilacap in Central Java.
