<h3>Cookifi raises seed funding from angel investors</h3>
Chef and cook hiring platform <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://cookifi.com/">Cookifi</a> has raised seed funding of an undisclosed amount from Kunal Shah, Chairman of FreeCharge, and Aneesh Reddy Co-Founder and CEO of Capillary Technologies.
Tracxn Labs, Venkat Tadanki, CEO of Secova, Krishna Mehra, Co-Founder at Capillary Technologies, Amit Rathore, Founder and CEO, Quintype along with other angel investors also participated in round that took place through TracxnSyndicate, the company said in a statement.
The company, which currently operates in Bengaluru, plans to use the funding to expand its operations in other cities and extend its technology solution for a better user experience.
<h3 class="selectionShareable">Shopwati raises seed funding from SRKKK Advisors</h3>
Gurgaon-based fashion discovery app<a href="http://www.shopwati.com/"> Shopwati,</a> operated by Prachalit Infomedia Pvt. Ltd, has raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding from boutique investment company SRKK Advisors.
The startup plans to use the funds for development of technology and customer and vendor acquisitions outside Delhi, according to a company statement.
Shopwati helps its users find clothes and accessories with the help of community members who include vendors, bloggers, private labels, designers and stylists.
<h3 class="selectionShareable">Edtech startup ExtraaEdge raises angel investment</h3>
Pune-based edtech startup <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://www.extraaedge.com/">ExtraaEdge Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd</a>, has raised an undisclosed amount in angel funding from a group of investors including Ritesh Dwivedy, CEO of Petoo.in and Priti Padhy, global director of business intelligence and information management at Microsoft, along with other angel investors, according to <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.vccircle.com/news/technology/2016/06/08/exclusive-student-acquisition-platform-extraaedge-gets-seed-funding">a report</a> by VCCircle.
ExtraaEdge plans to use the latest round of funding to expand the business to educational institutes and course sellers in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore, as well as strengthen its tech and customer acquisition teams, said Abhishek Ballabh, co-founder of ExtraaEdge told VCCirle.
It will also spend a part of its funding on its planned pilot programmes in Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
