Mogae Media has acquired Ngage, while startups ten3T, Serv&#8217;d, XPrep have raised  funds.
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Mogae Media acquires Nibuzz&#8217;s ad tech platform Ngage</h3>
Ad tech company <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/mogae-media" target="_blank">Mogae Media</a>, has acquired <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/ngage" target="_blank">Ngage</a>, the ad tech platform of <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/nimbuzz" target="_blank">Nimbuzz</a>, in an all-stock deal is valued at  Rs 40 crore, according to <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://epaperbeta.timesofindia.com/index.aspx?eid=31818&amp;dt=20161214" target="_blank">a report </a>in The Economic Times.
“We will use the platform Ngage to start programmatic advertising on mobile from the beginning of January for Vodafone and Aircel&#8217;s customer base,“ Sandeep Goyal, founder of Mogae Media said.
Earlier this year, mobile and marketing service provider, Mogae Media has raised $15 million fund to acquire digital startups. It recently acquired acquired personalised video platform <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/Ao1" target="_blank">Ao1</a> for an undisclosed amount in an all-stock deal.
“Ngage is a cross device ad platform and counts most large agencies like Group M, OMD, IPG and others as its clients. In India and Dubai, Ngage&#8217;s topline revenues are about Rs 40 crore,“ said Goyal, a former chairman of Dentsu India.
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">ten3T raises angel funding from Pi Ventures</h3>
Bengaluru-based medical grade wearable device startup, <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/ten3t" target="_blank">ten3T</a> has raised a round of funding from <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/pi-ventures" target="_blank">Pi Ventures</a>.
Other angel  investors including V. Krishna Prasad, Co-Founder of Qikwel, Bhupen Shah and other angel investors from the Valley and Bangalore also participated in this angel round, the company said in a statement.
The startup plans to deploy the latest funds raised to beta test the company’s first device, Cicer in multiple healthcare settings, including doctors in private practice, nursing homes and for at-home monitoring.
ten3T has developed its first wearable medical device ‘Cicer’, which will make cardiac health easily accessible to everyone. It builds wearable medical devices that collects and integrates medical grade data in real time.

Pune-based fintech startup <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/servd" target="_blank">Serv&#8217;d</a> has received a $100,000 grant from <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/digital-financial-service" target="_blank">Digital Financial Service (DFS) Lab</a>, a fintech accelerator funded by the <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/bill-and-melinda-gates" target="_blank">Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation</a>, said a report in The Economic Times.
The company, which started with an initial investment of about Rs 3.5 crore, is also in the process of raising about $3 million, or Rs 20 crore, from friends and family.
Serv&#8217;d is a peer-to-peer plat form that allows users to mana ge payments and terms of contract for workers, such as domestic helps, drivers and construction labourers.
“The aim is to build up data over a period of time, and then offer them financial services, such as health insurance and loans,“ Agarwal said.
The company , which was scheduled to launch operations in early 2017, had to advance its plans following demonetisation. It already has a 45-member activation team in Pune.
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Edtech startup XPrep gets $40k from FBStart</h3>
Tutor enablement platform, <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/xprep" target="_blank">XPrep</a> has been selected by <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/facebook" target="_blank">Facebook</a> for its <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://dealstreetasia.com/tag/fbstart" target="_blank">FBStart </a>programme, designed to help early stage mobile startups.
Under the programme, the company has received $40,000 worth of credits and services from Facebook and its partners like AWS, Dropbox, Adobe and MailChimp, the company said in a release.
It has also earned access to an exclusive community of developers and mentorship from the Menlo Park headquartered team of FB engineers.
Founded September 2015, XPrep serves as a platform to fill the gap within the tutor-parent community.
