<h3 style="text-align: justify;">Gati invests in Goa-based BrownTape</h3>
Hyderabad-based logistics firm <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=gati+ltd" target="_blank">Gati Ltd</a> has invested an undisclosed sum in BrownTape Technologies Pvt Ltd, a cloud-based software solutions company based out of Goa, according to a stock market disclosure.
BrownTape helps online merchants to manage their orders for multiple e-commerce marketplaces. The company has a technology platform that helps sellers manage orders and inventory in one place without the need to log into each e-tailing site separately.
“The relationship with BrownTape will form an important part of the company&#8217;s long-term growth strategy. The alliance will work on the vision of simplifying e-commerce for all levels of online sellers,” said Dhruv Agarwal, chief strategy officer of Gati.
BrownTape was started in 2012 by Piyush Goel and Gurpreet Singh. Earlier in 2014, the company had raised funding from early-stage investor Seedfund Advisors and Growth Story&#8217;s co-founder K Ganesh.

HR-technology startup DoSelect has received an undisclosed amount in seed funding from <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=3one4+Capital" target="_blank">3one4 Capital</a>, <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Aarin+Capital" target="_blank">Aarin Capital</a>, <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Mumbai+Angels" target="_blank">Mumbai Angels</a>, <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Singapore+Angel+Network" target="_blank">Singapore Angel Network</a> along with a group of individual investors.
InMobi&#8217;s co-founder Mohit Saxena led the round on behalf of Mumbai Angels.
The funds would be deployed to scale current traction areas through targeted marketing and sales funnels along with product enhancements, the company said in a press release.
Run by Bangalore-based Axilly Labs Pvt. Ltd, DoSelect is a collaborative platform that helps organisations hire technical talent. It is allowing many industry-firsts such as enabling teams to measure on API skills as well as automated UI assessments when recruiting front-end developers.
