GirnarSoft has acqui-hired Valueserve, legal tech startup HiGrit has raised seed funding and Goldman Sachs has sold shares in GTL Infrastructure.
<h3>GirnarSoft acqui-hires Valueserve</h3>
<a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=girnarsoft" target="_blank">GirnarSoft</a>, the parent company of auto portals like CarDekho.com, Gaadi.com and Zigwheels.com, has acqui-hired Jaipur-based Valueserve Management Consultants, a management consulting firm.
Launched in November 2010, Valueserve was founded by Yatendra Garg, a IIT Madras alumni.
&#8220;Given the push to create a digital India, e- Governance solution development and consultation appealed to us as a viable option. We are confident that the acquisition of Valueserve will allow us to add great value to various e-Governance and ICT initiatives,&#8221; said Anurag Jain, co-founder of GirnarSoft.
<h3>Legal tech startup HiGrit raises seed funding</h3>
Legal tech startup HiGrit has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from Chandigarh-based investors Ashish Mahajan and Sarvesh Sharma, according to a press note.
HiGrit plans to use the funds for product development. It is planning to launch an Android app by the end of July and start a calling facility for instant legal consultation.
The startup provides on-demand legal services to startups, entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized businesses and professionals through its online platform.
<h3>Goldman Sachs sells stake in GTL Infrastructure</h3>
<a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Goldman+Sachs" target="_blank">Goldman Sachs</a>, one of Wall Street&#8217;s biggest investment banks, has sold part of its stake in <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=GTL+Infrastructure+Ltd" target="_blank">GTL Infrastructure Ltd</a>.
The banker has sold 55.4 million shares in the company at Rs 2.69 per shares to Linden Capital last week through an open market transaction. In the process, Goldman Sach pocketed around Rs 15 crore ($2.2 million).
Linden Capital is a limited liability partnership company belongs to the US-based private equity fund Linden Partners.
Shares of GTL Infra closed at Rs 2.54 each, down 4.87 per cent on BSE on Wednesday.
