<a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.phiglobal.com" target="_blank">PHI Group</a> a company engaged in both conventional energy and renewables, has entered into a partnership with Milost Global Inc. to accelerate its inorganic growth.
A U.S. publicly traded company established in 1982, PHI Group is currently acquiring controlling interests in a number of targets in the conventional energy and renewables sectors, as well as special situations. This is with intention to build a critical mass and uplist to the Nasdaq Stock Market.
Alabama-based Milost Global Inc., is a private equity (PE) firm and parent company to PHI’s newly appointed advisor, which will be collaborating with PHI in acquiring cash-flow positive companies that generate between $100 million to $5 billion in annual revenues.
Speaking on the development, Dr. Ronald (Ron) Spratt, CEO of Milost Global Inc., said, “We look for partners who share our vision and commitment. With PHI Group as our partner, our footprint enlarges to give us greater access to global buyout opportunities.”
The partnership sees the two firms forming a Special Purpose Entity (SPE), which will be owned, controlled and managed equally by PHI and Milost Global Inc., through which the buyouts will be conducted.
Following these buyouts by the partnership buyout vehicle, subsidiaries will be formed in closing each buyout to house relative investments in their respectful structures. Targeted firms are publicly traded companies in North America, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Singapore and the UK.
According to the company, these transactions will be industry agnostic, focusing only on total buyouts that involve the companies delisting and going private. This approach is being adopted with the objective of enhancing shareholder value and distributing dividends within 24 months,with the partnership already investigating opportunities for immediate acquisition in the US and abroad.
