Mumbai-based <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=zoctr" target="_blank">Zoctr Health Pvt Ltd</a> has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Times Group&#8217;s <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Brand+Capital" target="_blank">Brand Capital</a>, the company said on Friday.
This is the third time that the company raised money in last nine-months, as per a statement.
Zoctr Health provides its services through online platform Zoctr that allows users to buy health-related services and home-based wellness packages online.
Earlier in July 2015, the company secured $1 million from <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=SPA+Capital" target="_blank">SPA Capital Group</a> founder Sandeep Parwal Organic Wellness&#8217; founder Krishan Gupta and former <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=ranbaxy" target="_blank">Ranbaxy</a> executives Anil Khandelwal and Arun Purohit.
Prior to this, Zoctr received seed funding from Rajeev Agrawal, partner at Ambit Pragma Ventures.
The company plans to use new funding mainly for print, medianet and radio ads for creating category awareness for home health as well as brand awareness for the Zoctr brand.
“Our investment model of Incubator Capital fulfils the objective of positively impacting such early stage start-ups in their entrepreneurial journey by giving them superior media access to all Times Group’s properties thus facilitating rapid customer adoption in the marketplace. I believe, with the right customer acquisition model and the media tools to support it, Zoctr can gain a lot of visibility in the market and help them to find the right place in the consumer’s life,&#8221; said Shrenik M. Khasgiwala, director, Brand Capital.
Founded by Nidhi Saxena, Zoctr aggregates home health, telehealth &amp; remote patient monitoring services. The startup expects to raise around 410 million more in its Series A round in the next six months. It has around 100 employees.
Currently operating in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Pune and Ahmedabad, it plans to scale into new cities.
“Zoctr’s aspiration is to touch 500,000+ Indians and be amongst the Top 5 most recognised Healthcare Brands in India in the next 5 years. The Times Group’s impeccable credibility, outreach and media mix coupled with the timing of the deal shall help Zoctr create a high impact launch and reach out to a Pan-India audience thereby enabling strong brand awareness and rapid adoption of home healthcare services by consumers,&#8221; said Nidhi.
The online healthcare has been seeing huge growth from the past one year. Another healthcare service provide Care24 which is run by Aegis Care Advisors, also <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/stories/india-care24-raises-4m-from-saif-partners-india-quotient-26917/" target="_blank">raised</a> $4 million funding led by venture capital firm SAIF Partners early this week.
