Australia&#8217;s telco giant <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://www.telstra.com.au" target="_blank">Telstra</a> has acquired <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://readify.net" target="_blank">Readify</a>, an application development and software-focused consulting and managed services firm.
The size of the deal was not disclosed.
Readify’s enterprise cloud application, Big Data and IoT solutions are expected to provide an additional platform for Telstra to drive digital transformation for its domestic and global enterprise customers.
Telstra global enterprise and services executive director Michelle Bendschneider, said, the acquisition supports the company’s goal of curating market leading services with its customers and complements Telstra’s recent acquisition of <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.kloud.com.au" target="_blank">Kloud</a>, a cloud migration services provider.

In the past three years, Telstra did successful integrations of O2 Networks, Bridge Point Communications, and NSC.
&#8220;As we know, apps and software in general are playing an increasingly important role in businesses. Readify is recognised globally for its innovative software solutions and will further help us create software-led digital transformations with our customers,&#8221; Bendschneider said.
She noted Readify will provide application development and data analytics services to complement Kloud’s existing services.
&#8220;It will enable Telstra to add incremental value to customers in enterprise cloud applications, API-based customisation and extensions as well as business technology advisory services,&#8221; Bendschneider added.

Readify managing director Graeme Strange, said, &#8220;Readify has a proven record of creating innovative solutions with our customers and, with Telstra’s scale, the opportunities are tremendously exciting.&#8221;
Readify employs around 200 staff across major Australian cities, including 160 software developers. It has been recognised globally by Microsoft with numerous awards.
