S Korea's Taihan Electric Wire,  Japan's ALSOK acquire Vietnamese cos

Companies from Japan and South Korea have acquired Vietnamese businesses to help expand operations in the Southeast Asian country. Korea’s PE-backed firm Taihan Electric Wire has taken over its affiliate by acquiring remaining stake of the Vietnam-based joint venture. Meanwhile, Japanese security firm ALSOK plans to purchase 49 per cent of Royal Hai Phong Security Service.
