Vietnam Dealbook: U.S. cos invest in $4b mixed-use project, Da Nang to be Route-Inn's first overseas market

The economic growth and integration of Vietnam has continued to attract investors from the U.S. and Japan. A group of U.S. companies is planning to jointly invest in a $4 billion real estate complex in Ho Chi Minh City, with the interest that it will become a financial centre for international firms to come. Meanwhile, Da Nang City, famous for its tourism potential, is the first international foray of Japan’s hospitality group Route-Inn, which has just set up its local branch in February.
