Atlys, a visa processing startup, has secured $36 million in fresh funding led by Susquehanna Asia Venture Capital, per media reports.

This marks the Series C round for the company, which has a significant presence in the US and India, besides the UAE, UK, and Australia.

The startup’s existing investors Elevation Capital, Long Journey Ventures, and Peak XV Partners are also understood to have re-upped in the round, while travel firm MakeMyTrip joined as a new investor.

Established in 2021, Atlys helps travellers apply for visa digitally across over 120 destinations.

The startup has reportedly processed about 450,000 visas, with markets such as the US, UK, and Australia contributing about half of its overall business.

Atlys last raised $20 million in September 2024. At that time, Peak XV Partners and Elevation Capital had co-led the round, with participation from others.

Travel tech startups are increasingly evincing investor interest as the sector continues to expand globally.

Just today, Scapia, a travel fintech startup headquartered in Bengaluru, made headlines for being in discussions with US-based venture capital firm General Catalyst to raise about $50-60 million.

According to The Economic Times, negotiations are at a preliminary stage.
