A.P. Moller completes 40% AC Logistics stake acquisition

A.P. Moller Capital has completed its acquisition of a 40% stake in Ayala Corp’s logistics unit AC Logistics Holdings Corp after securing regulatory approvals, according to a stock market disclosure.

The investment was made through EMIF II Holding III B.V., a vehicle of A.P. Moller Capital’s Emerging Markets Infrastructure Fund II. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The transaction finalises a deal first announced in March 2025, when the asset management arm of Danish transport and logistics group A.P. Moller agreed to acquire the stake through a share subscription agreement.

The partnership aims to expand AC Logistics into a leading integrated logistics provider in the Philippines by combining A.P. Moller Capital’s global logistics expertise with Ayala’s local market knowledge.

Founded in 2021, AC Logistics provides supply chain services including cold chain, freight forwarding, national distribution, and contract logistics.

The company operates a nationwide network of distribution centres and has access to a fleet of transportation assets, including temperature-controlled trucks and an extensive network of agents.

Malaysia’s Zetrix inks PH blockchain project

Malaysian public blockchain company Zetrix AI has signed an agreement with the Philippine government to develop the country’s public blockchain infrastructure, extending the use of its Layer-1 blockchain platform beyond Malaysia.

Under a memorandum of understanding signed with the Philippines’ Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Zetrix Philippines Inc, and My Blockchain Infrastructure will collaborate with the government to implement and operationalise a public blockchain based on the Zetrix protocol.

The companies did not disclose the financial terms or implementation timeline.

The platform is expected to support the issuance, authentication, and verification of government-issued digital credentials and applications deemed of national importance.

The partners also plan to explore cross-border interoperability between the national digital identity systems of Malaysia and the Philippines, as well as trade facilitation applications.
