CARPL.ai, an AI marketplace and enterprise platform, has raised $10 million in its Series A round led by the International Finance Corporation (IFC). In another development, Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting has acquired Good Home and Eva brands.
IFC leads $10m funding in CARPL.ai
CARPL.ai, an AI marketplace and enterprise platform, on Thursday (July 23) announced that it has raised $10 million in its Series A round led by International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. The funding also saw participation from Stellaris Venture Partners and other investors, the startup said in a statement.
The investment will support continued product innovation, expansion of CARPL’s global partner ecosystem, and commercial growth across North America, LATAM, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and emerging markets.
Founded in 2021, CARPL provides a single user interface, a single data channel, and a single procurement channel to bring AI solutions into clinical radiology workflows. The platform claimed that it is being used by healthcare organisations and many governments, including Brazil, India, Singapore, Spain and the UAE.
Wipro Consumer acquires Good Home, Eva
Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting has signed definitive agreements to acquire Good Home and Eva brands from TTK Healthcare Limited for a consideration of nearly $27 million (Rs 256 crore).
The acquisition strengthens Wipro’s portfolio in the home care and personal care categories, the company said in a statement.
Good Home operates in the home care segment with a portfolio that includes air care products, odour removers, scrubbers, and drain cleaners, addressing everyday household cleaning and hygiene requirements. Meanwhile, Eva is a deodorant brand with a product range spanning deodorant body sprays, no-gas perfumes, underarm roll-ons, and talcum powders.
Good Home and Eva reported combined revenues of Rs 148 crore in FY26.
