Oyo-parent Prism reduces proposed IPO size
Prism, the parent company of Indian budget hotel chain Oyo, is understood to have nearly halved the size of its proposed IPO as it revives plans to go public.
A recent filing shows that the SoftBank-backed company is now seeking to raise $354.65 million through a fresh issue of shares. When it first filed for an IPO in 2021, the company was seeking a valuation of up to $12 billion.
Prism has postponed its listing plans several times since then.
Apart from SoftBank, OYO also counts Airbnb, Microsoft and Lightspeed Venture Partners, among its investors.
EQT-backed Sagility buys US co
EQT-backed tech services provider Sagility has signed a definitive agreement to acquire US-headquartered Chirok Health, which provides clinical documentation improvement (CDI), medical coding, coding quality assurance and revenue integrity services to healthcare organisations.
The transaction is being routed through the Bengaluru-headquartered company’s US subsidiary, Sagility (US) Holdings Inc.
The acquisition worth $32.35 million will help Sagility expand its capabilities in the provider segment, particularly in clinical documentation integrity, medical coding and revenue optimisation.
Sagility offers technology-enabled services to healthcare payers, providers and pharmacy benefit managers across several markets, including the US, India, Jamaica, Colombia and the Philippines.
