Advent International has raised $30 billion across its global funds, including nearly $27 billion for its 11th flagship fund, exceeding its $26 billion target, and more than $3 billion for its new mid-market fund, per an announcement.

The firm has secured commitments from a broad mix of new and existing investors, including public and private pensions, sovereign wealth funds, endowments and foundations, institutional fund managers, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.

“The trust our investors have placed in us in one of the most demanding fundraising environments reflects the consistency of our track record and our discipline in returning capital,” said James Brocklebank, Managing Partner and Co-Chair of Advent’s Executive Committee, in a media statement.

Advent International’s GPE XI fund, which focuses on the mid-market, plans to invest across regions, sectors, deal types and sizes, with a focus on Europe and North America, while maintaining a presence in Asia Pacific and Latin America. The fund focuses on buyout opportunities.

The strategy will complement the firm’s GPE strategy, operating with the same deal teams, with a focus on investing equity of $100 million to $350 million in companies with enterprise values of up to $1.25 billion, primarily in North America and Europe, the firm said in a statement.

Advent’s Asia footprint

Advent’s key markets in Asia earlier included China and India.

Since 2024, the firm has expanded its regional footprint with new offices in Sydney and Tokyo, strengthening its presence in Australia and New Zealand and marking its expansion into Japan. It also opened an office in Abu Dhabi to deepen its Middle East presence and relationships with leading institutional investors in the region.

In early 2026, Advent further strengthened its Hong Kong base for Asia-Pacific investor engagement, building on more than three decades of investing in the region.

Recently the firm made headlines when it invested in Yatharth Hospitals, Iscon Balaji Foods and Aditya Birla Housing Finance. While all these companies are in India, in China, its investments include Seek Pet Food, and Wagas Group, among others.
