<article>Beijing-based big data app company <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.shijigroup.com/en/" target="_blank">Shiji</a> has bought a majority stake in <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=ReviewPro" target="_blank">ReviewPro</a>, a cloud-based data and analytics provider of Guest Intelligence solutions for hotels.</article>

Beijing-based big data app company <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.shijigroup.com/en/" target="_blank">Shiji</a> has bought a majority stake in <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=ReviewPro" target="_blank">ReviewPro</a>, a cloud-based data and analytics provider of Guest Intelligence solutions for hotels.
Shiji made the investment through its wholly-owned subsidiary Shiji Hong Kong Limited. The size of the ownership is not disclosed but the deal is pegged at around $28 million to $35 million, reports said.
From a boot-strapped startup that signed its first clients in September 2009, ReviewPro has turned into one of the fast-growing companies in the HotelTech space worldwide.

The company today has more than 30,000 hotel clients across all segments of the industry, including brands such Meliá Hotels International, The Ascott Limited, Kempinski, Red Lion Hotels and citizenM.
Shiji noted ReviewPro’s founders and management team will continue to lead the company as it scales its global growth plan and the roll-out of new products and services.
ReviewPro&#8217;s products include Online Reputation Management (ORM) and Guest Satisfaction Surveys (GSS), which enable savvy hoteliers to increase guest satisfaction and revenue.

Founded in 1998, Shiji claims to be responsible for approximately 60 per cent to 70 per cent of the market share in the high-end sector of hotel and retail industries, and possesses a leading position in the catering industry. The estimated annual revenue of Shiji clients can be as high as RMB 5 trillion.
Shiji chairman Li Zhongchu said ReviewPro is a great fit into the firm&#8217;s strategy to &#8220;Go Platform and Global&#8221;.
