DealStreetAsia’s first webinar: Venture debt in the times of COVID-19

In the past few weeks, COVID-19 has launched a merciless worldwide assault on governments, healthcare workers, the stock market, businesses, our very lives. We have been caught utterly exposed.

No one is spared, not even the four year-old Malayan tiger, Nadia, of the Bronx Zoo in New York. So if there are any animal spirits left in your investor-entrepreneurial bones, we trust you will reserve some exuberance for our first-ever webinar next week, April 16th, 2pm (SGT), that I will be moderating.

In conversation: With venture capital investors tightening their purse strings in the wake of COVID-19, could this be venture debt’s moment to shine as startups look for financing to extend their runways to tide over the crisis?

We are delighted to announce our newest panellist, Chris Wilson, partner at Simmonds Stewart, who will join this webinar with Chin Chao of InnoVen Capital and Vinod Murali of Alteria Capital Advisors.

Sign-ups are completely free, but DealStreetAsia’s premium subscribers will get priority access for both participation and Q&As.

Until then, the DealStreetAsia team and I trust you and your loved ones are keeping safe and well during this time. We look forward to hosting you next week.
