Turning Friction into Capital Flow: APAC PE/VC Edition 2026

This report quantifies opportunity and friction across APAC’s private markets by creating two first-of-its-kind indices: the APAC PE/VC Opportunity Index and the APAC PE/VC Friction Index based on a survey of more than 100 fund managers. The former measures where investors see the strongest prospects, while the latter assesses how difficult those opportunities are to execute. India ranks as APAC’s strongest PE/VC opportunity market, while Singapore records the region’s lowest operational friction.
