360 ONE Asset has received commitments of Rs 2,000 crore for its Private Investment in Public Equity (PIPE) strategy, according to an announcement.

The strategy focuses on investing in listed companies through structured capital, active engagement, and exit planning.

“Our PIPE strategy sits at the intersection of private market discipline and public market opportunity,” said Anup Maheshwari, co-founder and CIO, 360 ONE Asset, in a media statement.

“We see a growing need for patient, engaged capital that can support high-potential listed companies through their next phase of growth, governance strengthening, or balance-sheet optimisation,” he added.

360 ONE Asset is an Indian asset management firm with total assets under management (AUM) of about $11 billion across listed markets and alternative investments.

It recently raised $400 million for its fifth private credit strategy in a bid to invest in high-growth businesses in the sector.

The firm also runs equity funds that invest in sectors such as technology, financial services, industrials and manufacturing, healthcare, and consumer businesses.

In an earlier interview, Sameer Nath, chief investment officer and head of venture capital and private equity at 360 One Asset, said the firm is increasingly focusing its funds on sectors such as technology, financial services, industrials and manufacturing, healthcare, and consumer businesses.

“Sector-focused funds help with better deal sourcing, deal evaluation, and co-investing,” he had said.
