Flipkart funding helps Asia VC investments rebound in Q1, top $9b

On the back of mega $1.4 billion led by Indian e-commerce major Flipkart, the three months ended March 2017 proved to be one of a rebound for venture investing in Asia. The quarterly venture capital funding in the region topped $9 billion for the first time since the fourth quarter of 2015,  according to PwC /CB Insights MoneyTree Report Q1 2017, that was released Wednesday.
