Japanese retail giant Aeon Co Ltd. has formed capital and business alliances with two major supermarket operators in Vietnam as it expands its business in both that country and also across South East Asia. The company, which earlier had a ‘go-it-alone approach’, has now roped in Fivimart and Citimart, which currently own almost 50 stores across the country, as partners.
