Indonesia's Allo Bank goes digital, sets $679m loan target for first year

Indonesian conglomerate CT Corp on Thursday unveiled its digital banking services with the launch of the Allo Bank app. In the first year of operations, the Bukalapak-backed digital bank has set a loan target of 8-10 trillion rupiah ($543.15-678.94 million).

Chairul Tanjung, chairman of CT Corp, said the CT Corp ecosystem, which encompasses media, finance, retail and other sectors,  along with retail partners such as Indomaret and Alfamart, will help Allo Bank’s business.
