Analysts said Blibli’s stock market listing is a good strategy to secure funding before interest rates peak next year.
Maximilianus Nico Demus, research and investment director at Pilarmas Investindo Sekuritas, said Blibli’s IPO came at the right time. “We think this is a good strategy,” Demus told DealStreetAsia. “We know that interest rates won’t stop rising just yet… inflationary pressures will persist at least until next year. It will put a lot of pressure on the technology sector.”
