<article><a href="http://www.anglophil.com/" target="_blank">Anglo Philippine Holdings Corporation</a> raised $28.5 million (P1.26 billion) from the sale of its entire stake in North Triangle Depot Commercial Corp (NTDCC) to the local realty firm <a href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Ayala+Land+Inc" target="_blank">Ayala Land Inc</a> (ALI).</article>

<a href="http://www.anglophil.com/" target="_blank">Anglo Philippine Holdings Corporation</a> raised $28.5 million (P1.26 billion) from the sale of its entire stake in North Triangle Depot Commercial Corp (NTDCC) to the local realty firm <a href="http://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Ayala+Land+Inc" target="_blank">Ayala Land Inc</a> (ALI).
The deal was a completed transaction that began last December 3, 2014 when the Ramos-led investment holding firm accepted ALI&#8217;s offer to purchase the company&#8217;s 15.79 per cent equity interest in NTDCC at a price of about P1.26 billion.
NTDCC owns and operates the Trinoma commercial center, a giant mall in Quezon City in Metro Manila.
Anglo Holding informed the stock exchange on Friday that ALI has bought its remaining shares in NTDCC for around $11.8 million (P523 million); a follow up of its previous shares sale of $16.7 million (P738 million) last December 10, 2014. A total of 382,072 common shares and 3.8 million preferred shares were sold in the completed transaction.
The buyout is part of ALI&#8217;s strategy to expand its leasing business.

Originally named Anglo Philippine Oil Corp, Anglo Holding was founded in 1958 as an oil and mineral exploration company. In 1996, the company amended its primary purpose to that of an investment holding firm focused on natural resources, property development and infrastructure activities, and changed its corporate name to the present one.
The company also maintains minor investments in diversified pioneer projects with attractive economic returns.
Anglo Holdings has investments in United Paragon Mining Corp, Atlas Consolidated Mining &amp; Development Corp, The Philodrill Corp, MRT Development Corp, MRT Holdings, Inc, Brightnote Asset Corp, and Filipinas Energy Corp.
Anglo Holdings&#8217; last traded price was at P1.51 per share or up by P0.040 (2.72 per cent) to yesterday&#8217;s P1.47.
However, ALI&#8217;s stock price today hit P35.80, a 0.28 per cent(P0.100) increase to Thursday&#8217;s last trading price of P35.70 per share.
