India's Vedanta seeks JVs with Samsung, LG, others for $15b chip and display foray

Indian natural resources conglomerate Vedanta Group, controlled by billionaire Anil Agarwal, is exploring joint ventures with Japanese, Taiwanese, and South Korean companies as part of its $15 billion investment plan to start chip and display manufacturing in India, a senior executive in the group told Nikkei Asia.
