Sqreem acquires Trade Indy to boost AI, programmatic services

Singapore-based digital behaviour aggregator Sqreem Technologies has announced its acquisition of Trade Indy, a programmatic business founded in Melbourne, Australia.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Sqreem said the deal is part of its ongoing global expansion plans as Trade Indy currently operates across Australia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North America.

Sqreem, founded in 2010, is an artificial intelligence firm which develops AI solutions that match online behaviours with brands and publishers. Trande Indy, on the other hand, offers programmatic managed services to media agencies and brands since its launch in 2014.

The acquisition commenced immediately, and Trade Indy is now integrated into the Sqreem Group.

“The agreement to merge with Sqreem expands both business offerings by bringing together our experienced managed service team with advanced, cookieless, AI-driven technology,” said Trade Indy director Mark Rosenberg.

Choco Up, Atlas to invest in 100 F&B startups in Singapore

Revenue-based financier Choco Up and restaurant tech company Atlas have teamed up to launch a new fund that will invest in F&B businesses in Singapore, according to an announcement.

The vehicle — Atlas Growth Fund — seeks to invest in at least 100 F&B businesses, giving qualified businesses $10,000 each in pre-approved funding and a six-month subscription to core Atlas products.

Choco Up, one of Asia’s largest revenue-based financing platforms, will provide up to $20 million in capital, while Atlas will offer its restaurant operating system to F&B companies under the initiative.

“By collaborating with Atlas and F&B establishments, Choco Up aims to support and enhance Singapore’s food scene,” Percy Hung, co-founder and CEO of Choco Up, said.

Atlas, on the other hand, leverages AI to help restaurants connect their online storefronts, POS, and logistics with food platforms and other tools. Its customers include The Coconut Club, Poke Theory, Salad Stop, Les Amis Group, and others.
