India: Biotech equity fund BIRAC eyes $30m corpus to invest in lifescience startups

Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), the funding agency under the department of biotechnology, government of India, said it plans to devote a corpus of Rs.100-200 crore for its biotech equity fund to provide financial assistance to biotech and life sciences start-ups.
