Taiwanese insurer Cathay Life Insurance has committed €50 million ($54 million) to the new flagship fund of buyout firm EQT, according the insurer’s regulatory filing.
The commitment is for EQT X, the new flagship fund of the Swedish private equity group. EQT has set the hard cap for investment commitments of €21.5 billion for the said vehicle.
