Real estate services and investment firm <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=cbre+">CBRE Group</a> has appointed <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://www.dealstreetasia.com/?s=Andrew+Deng">Andrew Deng</a> as Managing Director, Western China.
This appointment, which is effective immediately, marks an important milestone for the company’s expansion strategy in China, according to the company’s statement.
Andrew will be based in Chengdu and oversee CBRE’s Western China platform where the market demand has been growing. He will be supported by an established on-the-ground team in Chengdu and will partner with the Greater China business lines to deliver a full service offering to clients.
He will report to Ben Duncan, chief executive officer of North Asia and president of Greater China.
“Andrew’s appointment reinforces CBRE’s commitment to deepening its Greater China investment beyond the more established markets. We will continue to bolster leadership ranks, hire local talent and build scale in growth markets to better support the evolving requirements of our diverse domestic client base and the expansion plans of our global clients,” said Duncan.
Prior to joining CBRE, Andrew led the retail business at Savills Chengdu and was promoted to Head of Retail, West China. He can speak Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
