China Deal Monitor: Quadtalent bags $20m led by Gaorong Capital and more updates

Shenzhen Quadtalent Technology Co., Ltd, which provides digital transformation solutions to traditional industries, has garnered as much as $20 million in its debut funding led by Gaorong Capital at a reported post-money valuation of close to $200 million. 

Established in 2019, Quadtalent was co-founded by Dr. Wanli Min who has served stints at Google, IBM and Alibaba, per a company statement. The startup leverages data technologies to provide digital solutions to players in sectors such as retail, manufacture, agriculture, logistics, and healthcare. 

Quadtalent is said to be ramping up efforts to expand to overseas markets beyond China. It is looking at a presence in the UK, the UAE and Southeast Asia.
