China Digest: Stock database Gelonghui & tools marketplace Toolots raise funds

Gelonghui, an online information platform related to Hong Kong listed companies, has raised $30.15 million in its Series A round while e-commerce platform Toolots has secured funding of $12.4 million.

Gelonghui, a Chinese online database of listed Hong Kong companies, has raised RMB200 million ($30.15 million) Series A, Tencent Technology reported.

The platform provides market information, reports, trading, database and other services mainly on Hong Kong stocks.

The undisclosed investment will help the team further consolidate its leading position in investment research and information in the Hong Kong stock market.

E-commerce site for industrial wear Toolots gets $12.4m

An online marketplace for industrial tools and equipment, Toolots, has raised $12.4 million financing from Hong Kong Pantong Capital.

Launched in May 2016, the portal offers its customers industrial equipment from around the world while it streamlines the purchase, delivery, installation and warranty of the products.

The startup is led by Jason Fu, who wants to solve the challenges seen in the supply chain and help manufacturers mainly from the U.S. and China encounter a comprehensive distribution solution.
