Mobike, Meituan-Dianping set to intensify competition in China's ride-hailing market

China’s cut-throat ride-hailing market could be heading for yet another price war with the entry of new players. Chinese bike rental major Mobike officially launched its car-sharing services in Guizhou, while O2O and e-commerce platform Meituan-Dianping has taken the first steps towards launching its own ride-hailing services nationwide.
